I knew there was a reason that I let my son (that's in a wheelchair) subscribe to People Magazine.  I get the fashion advice and he gets the news.

Dr. Hugo Keim, 72 and Alicia Keim, 59, were recently voted a Heros as one of  People Magazine's (Heroes Among Us) good deeds.

Higher education is the most vital link to economic empowerment and self-sufficiency. It is the cornerstone of a healthy community. Yet, an astoniching 73% of physically disabled people can't obtain a post-secondary education due to the monumental financial burden their disability creates.

Our mission is to change this.

The ChairScholars Foundation, Inc. is a Florida-based charity with 501-(c)-(3) status. Our sole mission is to provide physically disabled, impoverished youngsters a postsecondary education. We administer two scholarship programs for this purpose; the "National" Program and the "Local" Program.

If you are physically challenged and want to go to college, but cannot afford it, then contact the Keim's organization at www.http://chairscholars.org.
